Very funny podcast i always look forward to them.So i started to read 50 shades of gray and it wasent good,it reads very much like fanfiction ,the bad kind. And most of the time it did not make sense. It just isnt a good book I dont know how it got to print.

Thanks, Ash! I had heard some bad things about 50 Shades and wasn’t sure if i should bother reading it. And it’s hard to beat the Twilight Saga!

Hey, I just thought I would add an opposing comment to this weeks discussion (which was great by the way haha). You seemed to only use what you saw of “movie Edward” rather than the true Edward portrayed in the books. The movie Edward is continually played as a weaker character for some reason, while in the books Stephenie Meyer has said, if some of the confrontations had happened, Edward would have won hands down. Just like Jacob, Edward isn’t as passive as he sometimes seems and does have fits of anger,( like when he stormed out with anger and broke the tv in the Cullen house in New Moon after they agreed to turn Bella). So, rage would be an issue for him too. Also, I think that Edward would not have thought twice about killing Jacob if Jacob had decided to kill Edward spur of the moment. However, I do agree with you that Edward would think twice about killing him if the confrontation was drawn out. In the books, Edward’s fights are more skilled and he is not as weak as they show him portrayed in the movies. Also, with Edward’s age, he is probably a skilled fighter, while Jacob will just be in a rage and try to take Edward down while probably making some stupid mistakes. Edward is a lot stronger in the books, than the movies give him credit for. If the two were to fight in the books, I think it would be more even, and that Edward would win but not kill Jacob, just seriously injure most likely, I love the podcast, and only wish I could hear from you both all the time! You two crack me up and I can’t help but laugh out loud! I just thought I would add a differing opinion to the discussion. Thanks for reading this long message, and keep on podcasting!
