Pocket Edward prepares for New Moon by getting a wolf-pack six-pack
Just like every other Twilighter, I am in the throes of preparing for the upcoming New Moon premiere this week. If you are caught up on the latest Twilight Newborns podcast, you know Christen and I have passes for a New Moon screening in Cincinnati on Wednesday Nov. 18.
We hope we can get in since more passes are given out than there are seats. And we’re no Twilight fools. We saw the mammoth autograph cue line at TwiCon, and we witnessed how even a Pocket Edward can cause a stampede. These things can get intense.
So we’re formulating our strategy now to make sure we see the movie: (1) get there before school lets out (2) have bribe money (3) put in a good word with the Big Guy in the Sky.
The good thing is there is so much The Twilight Saga: New Moon goodness out there that preparing for the movie has been as easy as imprinting.
I wanted to share my list with you and let us know what you’re doing to get ready for the big premiere!
- Bought passes to see the New Moon screening on Wednesday thanks to Christen and her amazing Craigslist skillz
- Bought tickets to the midnight showing for Friday, Nov. 20. There is NEVER enough Edward!
- Listening the New Moon soundtrack on repeat in car, at work, in my dreams. My favorite song is “All I Believe In”, which is a bonus song from iTunes by The Magic Numbers And Amadou & Mariam. I skip to that song all the time.
- Catching up on Twilight podcasts. There are a plenitude of great podcasts out here (including our own, of course). If you want to supplement your Twilight Newborns podcasts, check out Imprint, Twilight Series Theories and The PattyCast.
- Recording those Twi-Cast TV appearances. Check out this list from MSN.
- Get Pocket Edward a werewolf outfit (See above). Or, better yet, get a Pocket Jacob.
- Checking out these Italy set photos from Chris, Fan of the Week Emeritus.
- Wash that Hot Topic “I Dreamed of Edward Cullen” t-shirt. Christen will thank me if I do.
Remember to share your list in the comments! And we still want to hear from you on our poll, “How excited are you to see the New Moon movie?â€

Have bought tickets for the First ever Midnight showing ever in Belfast (New Moon of course) Thursday 19th at Midnight.
Have also bought tickets for the showing straight after the midnight showing, and another one at 2.30pm 😀
Have been having more frequent Twilight talks with friends in school.
For a computer class, instead of making a powerpoint about Humane Sports, I made one about Vampire Baseball 😀 haha, Got in trouble for that one.
Washing all my Twilight tops :).
Best of all: Have been working on my 12 pac to beat Taylor Lautner when he comes on the screen with his top of 🙂 haha.
Cant wait! yeoo haha

I’m not doing too much.
I did buy a t-shirt for New Moon with Edward on it to wear to the movie though. 🙂 and I live in Residence at my University and most of the girls on my floor and I are going to see it on Thursday at West Edmonton Mall. 😀
And of course, I caught up on your podcast 😀 that was helping me get into the New Moon mood!
Other than that nothing too big, I decided not to reread New Moon, I figure I’ll cry enough at the movie, I don’t need to cry while reading it again haha
I hope you guys have an awesome time at your prescreening and that you shove your way to some awesome seats 😉

Katy! LOL at your 12-pack! you’re have something in common for when you meet Taylor 😉 are there lots of Twihards in Belfast? i’m sure there are…seems Twihards are everywhere 😀 LOL at your powerpoint. Sounds like it was worth the trouble, though.

Ambur–I forgot to add rereading New Moon to my list. Duh! This time when i read it, i tried to not get too depressed. but i’ve read it before and have just cried and cried (guess i’m a real sap :D) I really liked NM because it was the most realistic book, i think, to the series. Heartbreak and relationship drama and all.
Thanks for the well wishes on Wednesday. We’re going to get in no matter what!
Thanks for listening and for reading!

Taking my teen daughter and her pals to the double feature. So we’ll probably be getting in line for Twilight at about 8:30pm and will be getting out of New Moon about 2:30am.
Then, I’m going to be crazy enough to go to work the next day!! I wonder if Starbucks does quintuplet shots of espresso. Or maybe I’ll just take a handful of coffee beans and munch on them all morning!

Hey Lara, Starbucks and you will be BFF on Friday. But I think its definitely worth it.
I wasn’t too sure if i should go see Twilight before NM show but i wonder if people will keep their seats and not be forced to stand in line again. If that’s the case, maybe i should go to see Twilight to stake my claim. I don’t want to be so close i have to rub noses with Jacob all nite. (Okay….maybe i do)

I enjoyed twilight saga. Can you imagine Edward and Jacob’s beautiful faces on an even bigger screen?? Imagine no more! You can experience it come June 30th as @Twilight announced via Twitter today that twilight Eclipse will be released on IMAX screens on it’s release date! cant wait for the eclipse movie.
