Thanks for the speedy review. I too enjoyed the movie, but I think I liked it even more the 2nd time around because I could just enjoy it on it’s own without comparing it to the book!
I do agree with Christen that the vamps did look a bit technicolor. I thought that was a pro and a con. Pro because I thought they looked way more vampy and a bit on the scary side — but still beautiful. I could see why humans would keep their distance. But also a con because I couldn’t see a group of them going to school and no one saying “Whoa, is that a family of meth addicts or what??” Ha Ha!
Hey, one thing I did notice was that Jasper was still in school. In the book wasn’t he suppose to have graduated with Rosalie and Emmett by New Moon?

Wow Melissa, Christen… you girls are dedicated! And we love you for it!!! I too agree that the vamp makeup was a bit clownish/technicolor at times.
I agree too ’bout the Volturi scene…..
Why couldn’t Alice fight back (a little at least?) And damn… did Edward get his @$$ handed to him or what? Maybe it was due to him being weak from not feeding regularly when he was in hiding, away from Bella. In the book doesn’t Bella mention (on the way home when she thinks she’s dreaming) that ‘her Edward’ was usually more well fed… she was taking about his eyes being black….
That reminds me…. what color were Edward’s eyes in Voltera? Were they golden? ‘Cause they shoulda been black, right?

oops I meant to say:
In the book Bella DOES mention (on the way home when she thinks she’s dreaming) that ‘her Edward’ [in her dreams] was usually well fed.
