Hey guys! I got my Dej clone! Yay! Thanks Melissa and Christen! He’s getting along great in FL.. And so far he’s been behaving:)
    btw..
I’m kinda excited to see Stephenie on Oprah. However, I think y’all bring up an excellent point… it’ll be a pretty lame interview if Oprah has not read the series.. But I guess we’ll see…. What I’m hoping for is an announcement as to when Midnight Sun will be out! *fingers crossed*

I’m glad to here the Dej clone made it to you! Those poor Post Office peeps…i’m sure the Dej clone caused lots of ruckus 😀
The Oprah interview will be interesting. I’m going to DVR it. I don’t watch Oprah enough to know if she has made any reference to Twilight before this episode. But i do think she’s like it.
A Midnight Sun announcement on Oprah would be KILLER! I hope your hunch comes true!

    Gals,
Listening to the ‘cast now and I’ll report that my daughter went to the Twilight Cast event in Denver. I refused to stand in line for 4 hours (outside in 40 degree weather) but she did. She got to meet Alex Meraz and Kiowa Gordon and went goo-goo for the Meraz!! Funniest recap from her, that some pushy Twi-Mom was trying to nudge her daughter in front of her and her friend. My daughter is a bit spunky and loudly proclaimed,”They shouldn’t let CRAZY Twilight fans in here!”

That cracked me up! Too bad I wasn’t there, I could’ve had a Twi-Mom throw down with that lady!!

    Hi Lara,
LOL Good for your daughter to stand up for herself! I meet Alex at TwiCon and I went gaga over him as well. (So cute!!!) I hope he’s in NM for a good chunk. I really like when **spoiler here** Bella slaps him across the face in NM. I’d like to see a Paul/Bella spin-off just for more Meraz.
And my money is on you in any Twi-Mom throw down! Some peeps got to be skooled.

Just finished the ‘cast and I say I’ll have to agree with one of your theories, Melissa, that I think that Carlisle, sympathetic fool that he is, might have gathered some personal articles from the Mason household as soon as he transformed Edward. I mean, he did have 3 days to get things secured before Edward turned and the family vultures swooped in to nab everything else. I’m sure, as E was his “first born” he would want him to have a few relics of his human life to keep with him. He did tell Bella that he had given some of these “trinkets” to Esme and Alice (what? No love for Rosalie?).
Anyhow, he could give me one of those “trinkets” anytime!!

Lara–I hadn’t remembered that convo between Bella and Carlisle and if he had done that for Esme and Alice, then its certainly possible he started with Edward. Carlisle also probably understands the value of having items from one’s human life since he has always his father’s stone cross. Hmmmm… that’s interesting about Rosalie. Maybe Carlisle didn’t want to remind Rosalie of her human life since it came to such a brutal end? That Carlisle, he’s so thoughtful 😀

Sorry Melissa, I wasn’t clear. I meant that Edward had told Bella that he’d given “such trinkets” to Esme and Alice. 😉
