Please talk on the podcast on how to explain rationally to fellow adults our current fixation with Twilight, 22 year old actors, 17 year old vampires and make it not sound like I’m having a mid life crisis?? I’m 32 and a wife and mother of 3. My daughter is a fellow fan but husband and colleagues think I’m nuts. 🙂

I think it would seem out of character for Bella to get all wrapped up in the wedding. Great job on the podcast.

I agree it’s out of character…but I still think she should have taken a SLIGHT interest. I mean…she’s marrying Edward Cullen, for crying out loud. She should have to do something besides show up and have other people dress her 🙂

Personally, if I had a radical pad like the Cullens’, I would have found a wedding at home to be totally romantic. It’s so much more personal and heartfelt than some exotic locale. But considering my then fiance,now husband and I lived in a 1 bedroom apartment at the time, I don’t think a quaint wedding in our flat would have worked out:(
But I do think a “home-made” wedding is much more Bella’s speed as well. So maybe that’s one thing Alice took into consideration rather than jetting everyone off to Paris.
