Origins of Dejeuner

DéjeunerIn episode 7, we gave a run-down on Déjeuner, our podcasting mascot. Like good fangirls, we took inspiration from Robert Pattinson and his running abilities to create the mystique of Déjeuner.

Déjeuner graciously took time from his film agent correspondence course to fill out this online profile. Thanks, Déj!

  • Name: Déjeuner (translates to “lunch” in French). Ladies call me Dej.
  • Animal type: Mountain goat
  • How do people describe you: Plush!
  • Birthday: January 1, 2009
  • Physical condition: I work out and have well-defined withers. I weigh 4.7 grams and am 4 inches long and 6 inches tall. I have luscious brown fur with white accented legs. My white horns are impeccable. I am now able to grow chin hair. My eyes are topaz. (No really! They’re topaz!)
  • Parentage: An online shire called Amazon
  • Favorite book: New Moon. More humans die than animals. It’s a nice change of pace.
  • Favorite movie: Twilight. The deer bites it and not me. And I’m not allowed to watch anything else.
  • Favorite Cullen: Are you kidding!?! I’m afraid of them all!
  • Favorite Swan: Charlie…he only hunts fish.
  • Favorite Newborn: Ummm. I love Melissa for the pets. I love Christen for the adventure.
  • Job: The third host of the Twilight Newborns podcast and chief arbitrator.
  • Ambition: Become a Hollywood agent in the vein of Ari Gold.
  • Habitat: Suburban home, hugging microphones and sleeping on desks.
  • Favorite accessories: Ray-bans and beanies just like my pal, Rob.
